Your face looked better the old way

Saw "Midnight Juggernauts" last night at Rocket bar, Hindley street, they were really, really good... along the lines of the presets, if you don't know about them (i didnt until yesterday either) check them out at there myspace or website.

Got Robocop Boxset today for $22, thats Robocop 1, 2 & 3.. wow

Also liking this band called White Rose Movement lately. They are from London. Their sound is described as "post-punk".... Goddamn.. every band that comes out these days is given this label, post-punk. Post-Pre-Pubescent, i don't know it sounds pretentious, and hipster. All these bands coming out with synthesizers doing this sound, its ok, but its no longer my thing. People dig it but they dont know where it originated, they don't know about the key bands, they don't know about italo disco, they dont search for the source.. if they did they would find so many more good bands along the same lines as ...... Its as soon as there is a recipe for success (do this sound that is popular at the moment and you will do well) and so everyone does it.. i really don't know where im going with this. The next big-sound i think will be the 90's dance sound... if you are looking for a recipe for success start and refine this sound now.. get it down. Says who? says id. The Klaxons know the deal.

Mental pictures, things which stick in your head and you think about them again. These are things that I like. I get really annoyed by having to do simple, easy things and so i try and come up with practical, logical solutions to make these things easier. Who cares, that lady over there, you know the one.. the one with the smile on her face when no one is around, she is dreaming up ways to make you happy, this is the source of HER happiness.

So yeah ok if you take nothing from this post except this tidbit of info i learned today, my post has been worthwile.
So ok... apparently.. (has been proven) if you stick your tongue out at a new-born baby, the baby will mimick you and stick its tongue out!!!!! I cant wait to have a new-born to try this out, any person who is expecting i want to tell them about this. The mechanism behind this behaviour are the work of "mirror neurons". It is a fairly recent discovery in the field of neuroscience. It is thought to be one of the greatest drivers of human progression. It is the mechanism behind empathy, learning gestures, putting things in context. The discovery of this mechanism, made about a decade ago, suggests that everything we watch someone do, we do as well - in our minds.
