Drawings
I like to draw in Flash.
Drawing in Flash makes my mouth go up at the sides.
I like to use the little circle one not the pencil.
I drew these last night.

Yeah well you'd be suprised how many rhombi lose eye, its quite common apparently.

The Charmer
Charmer Charmer Chamahr.. no not Chahmar fool Charma.
So yay, my internet is not being a sloth for a change.
I finally got every single episode of Dr. Katz and transferred the .wmv files to my mod chipped xbox and have watched all of season 1 and am now onto season 2. The episode which I am currently looking at features the dry comic that Neil Golding really likes, what is his name again, he is funny and witty and loves word play oh yeah thats right, his name is Stephen Wright.
I like Dr. Katz because it portrays human realism in a cartoon. I want to change that word portray because I don't really like it in this context. I don't know if I enjoy cartoons which sway too much from reality. Like when a cartoon character gets run over by a train and then he is all flat and just springs back into shape, that to me is not entertaining. Actually any entertainment which portrays humans or animals in a non-realistic way I don't tend to enjoy. I hate Pixar animations i think they are the pits.
Karl sent me an article on synesthesia today and asked if i had it. Unfortunately i do not. Synesthesia is a condition which is said to be found in 1 in 23 people although another website said it was about 1 in 2000, quite a difference. Pharell Williams (Neptunes/N.E.R.D.) has it. Its when you see colours when listening to music, or say some letters of the alphabet are in different colours, you see these colours, its insane. I'd really like to experience that. That seems to me like an experience I would enjoy. Check out Pharell's Wikipedia entry. He seems really intelligent and has specific interests... and he skates!
Last night I went to bed or went into bed at 10:30pm when Luke went to bed. I do not know why, I got too much sleep if you know what i mean. I woke up at 5:00am then went back to bed, woke up at 6:00am then went back to bed and woke up at 7:30am.
Today at work our connection to our CMS was being so shit, it was dropping out every 5 minutes so I could not get much work done. That and the jeans I wore were too tight and kinda itchy on my hairy man legs after a days wear and tear. I will continue to wear them like the fashion whore I am.
I had a glass of Chivas Regal scotch and flat coke before. The flat coke was not that nice, the scotch was okay. I feel like I'm wasting it when i just have a glass here and there. Luke once asked me if I ever drank it straight, like just with Ice and then told me I should try it. I tried it but did not enjoy it. What i do enjoy however is Yakult. I think I can sense and addiction coming on. In the Stephen Wright episode, he is addicted to coffee and this made me want to be addicted to coffee, so I just had a cup then. I used to drink a lot of coffee.
Ive been reading this PDF by Bob Proctor called Born Rich. I copied all the text from it using the text selection tool then used a program which converts text to images so i could look and read on my PSP. Its all about how if you want to be rich you have to generate the images in your mind and feelings of already being rich now. You have to focus on this stuff. The law of attraction and all that.
Today Kate told me and all the Sagittarians in the office that today is the best day in the year for Sagittarians to have a date. Its a great date night. This whole week is good for dating but tonight especially, Sagittarians are at their peak. I googled daily horoscopes for sagittarius's and the 4 different horoscopes i found mentioned nothing of this peak? What, how could they be so unashamedly unaware of this? How could they leave this out?
I do believe in astrology as there are observable traits in people born in specific months which cannot be shrugged off as mere coincidence. Magazine/newspaper/online horoscopes however i see as purely entertainment. I want to know why there are these common personality types and things which often are similar in people born on a particular month. I also want to know about the planets in our solar system. I want a telescope. I want to know why when there is a full moon, my eyes open up a little more.
Tomorrow Luke is going to be an extra in McLoud's Daughters. When this show first came on tv i laughed hard at this name. I imagined if i had another sister apart from Kate and someone outside the family referred to them as Kowald's Daughters as if they had something special or were notorious for some reason or another to warrant such a title.
I want to write a book on an imaginary topic. I want to create some sort of wireless network connected to a massive server that my apartment complex could all connect to and share files and recipes. I want to have a family exchange program with an asian or indian family in our complex and see how they live and eat and see what things they value and what their gripes are. I want to make a website for our apartment complex with a forum and online bulletin board where we can join as one and bitch about people who bang their feet too loudly when going up the stairs at 12:00 at night.
Okay so you know when you read a book, watch a movie or meet someone who displays a part of yourself which you find weird but then you see it in that person and you love it... you love it.. your all i like that person, he's weird in that respect just like me. Loving them is loving yourself, it is therapy. I was thinking about this last night and thought that maybe i should take the initiative and write a book/cartoon or something and the characters would contain all the flaws in myself which i am not comfortable with but the act of writing and validating these characters will be like therapy for myself.

Scotch on the rocks. Or just plain scotch. It is gross.... The first time. It grows on a person though.
I still contort my face on the first mouthful, but it's all good after that. It's great man.
Whiskey is great, also.
You wrote a lot man. Why is that? A lot to say? or was it the scotch?
Yeah u get used to it hey. Would still rather drink it with coke.
Chivas regal is great. On the rocks is very good too, never drink cheap stuff on the rocks though.
Interesting point about not liking unrealistic cartoons. Is that not the point of cartoons? If they were all ways realistic then why not use actors and just make it into a normal show? The fact that its animated means that they dont hav eto be constrained to the normal laws of this world.
I don't like unrealistic cartoons, I prefer cartoons which stick to the laws and constraints of humans/the world. Cartoons such as Dr. Katz, South Park (to a certain extent).
I just prefer these as I see anything unrealistic which occurs in a cartoon makes me disregard everything else in the cartoon. A disconnection occurs as I cannot possibly feel any emotion whatsoever for a cartoon character who is say upset, when at the same time if that character were to fall off a cliff, it would just bounce back up a few times and be all okay. To me, this character no longer warrants my attention, he is cut off. Or maybe it runs even deeper than this. Maybe i categorise unrealistic cartoon characters as "fake", "false" so naturally I don't enjoy it.
I look at most things in their metaphorical sense, what they represent. Unrealistic cartoons represents untrue, waste of time, I personally cannot learn or get anything from it and so do not enjoy them. I think this is also why I never read and would never buy a fiction book. Just see it as such a waste of time. It does not contribute one bit to my wanting to understand the world and fill in that bigger picture of life and everything I have been constructing over the years, where most things are connected in some way.
Thats just my weird way of looking at cartoons. I realise that cartoons usually are unrealistic and this appeals to people and kids especially, but I don't like these cartoons, i like the realistic sort. This was my statement all along, perhaps a better description provides a context for this statement.
Thats fair enough and its a completley valid point, and its also a very interesting one.
I guess this would limit a huge amount of anything that you watch. I mean probably 60% (guess) of TV/Movies are pretty unrealistic. Weather that be because of the lifestyle of the charachters, their actions or reractions. So eventhough its not as out there as a squashed person just popping back to life its still unrealistic. So by defention you would feel the same about the two shows. Some unrealistic shows/cartoons that spring to mind are The Simpsons, CSI, Matrix, Smallville, The Benchwarmers etc...
I do see your point as well abou tthe shows giving you no direct input into your daily life but is ther no room for escapism? Do you not find that sometimes there is nothing better than sitting back and forgetting about bills, bosses and gravity and just laughing at something or being amazed by effects that make someone look as if they are superman?
