Generally when Im heating something in the microwave I designate a time of 45 seconds. 45 seconds seems the perfect amount of time for a whole variety of foods.

On more than one occasion as Im driving somewhere I get the thought how cool would it be if what i was doing now was a game. Like the game is me driving this car right now, with graphics as real as the reality of this very moment. The perfect game would not be one thing/task like driving a car but a merging of every task one experiences in life, say going to work, making friends, getting drunk and acting stupid etc. All the best games put together to form the game of "life". Ive always wanted a game which not only focuses on just 1 aspect of life, but ALL aspects of life. And then I realise that I am in a game so to speak, the best game ever, the game of life, I am in control of myself and my actions. The only difference is that If I was experiencing this exact same reality but from a games machine/simulation I would take more risks. And then I think, why the hell are'nt I taking more risks now? This "game" of life is the most advanced experience I will ever have, more satisfying than any game will ever be. So i put it to you, see life as a game and own that you are in control, take more risks and reap the rewards of greater life experiences.

Went to the Dentist

Went to the dentist just before because I cracked one of my teeth. I havent had a checkup in 2 years and straight off the bat, the dentist says "Hi Nathan!, havent seen you in a while, are you still working at woolworths?(where i was working 2 years ago)" i was like huh? wtf.. I didnt expect him to even recognise me because he'd have so many customers. Now I know he may have these details somewhere in a file or whatever but this was impressive to say the least. What a champion, he just gained a loyal patient for life.

I like going to the dentist, I remember as a kid always being really excited I was going because 1. I'd get to miss out on a lesson or two of school and get to rub it in to the other kids and more importantly 2. i'd get to sit in the waiting room which the walls were covered with the most exciting pictures and illustrations, cartoons, the lot. Id sit down, breathe in deeply the dentist fumes and just soak up all the visual eye candy my little overactive imagination could handle. The dentist I went to tonight was more of an "Adult" dentistry place. So paintings which have clearly been selected to "relax" anxious patients have replaced the colourful cartoons of "Jimmy the Rabbit that enjoys eating vegetables".

The new system of a down album is great. I love it my fav tracks are 2. B.y.o.b 4. Cigaro 5. Radio/Video 6. This Cocaine makes me feel like im in this song 7. Violent Pornography and 10. Old school hollywood.

I picked up a printed version tonight of a design i did for Lee's band the Tony Font Show, the design turned out pretty good for just a making it up on the spot job. Check it out here. I feel like shit tonight, maybe its cos of my cold i dunno. Could be from the dreams i had last night. Some nights, all night i have bad dreams, this doesnt happen often but when it does i have a bad dream and wake up and just know im going to have another one when i fall asleep. Last night the dream was this maniac dude / total out of his mind nutcase was chasing me and my girlfriend around town.. At first i was like yeah watever because I thought i could like identify with the nutcase because i think I think differently to people but no... he was totally gone and so i had to try and get away/outwit/protect my girlfriend. At one point i was kaning him over the head with a shovel and it wasnt doing anything to him, it was wak. Meh. But the dream made me think about something, that fear attracts bad things to you and so all you have to do is not become afraid and you will be fine. Its like how if you are so scared of something happening then it will almost always happen so you are forced to come face to face with your fears. Theres stuff that i need to let go off / not be afraid of which sounds gay but i gotta admit to this sorta stuff so i can face it or watever.

Ive been drinking lemsip lately.. that helps my cold go down stacks.. when i first had it it tasted sooo grose i could barely make it through the whole drink but now its gotten bareable.. even comfortable.

Im trying to design this website for my friend's band but im so stumped as to what to do with it. I want it to be really good but cant work out what to do with it yet. I need photography im thinking.. Photos make killer websites.

Mind Bank Projection

Someone and I don't care who needs to invent a device which we shall call a "MBP" which can stand for Mind Bank Projection. What this new device should do is when you hear someone say something that you know they heard from someone/somewhere else, you can activate your MBP which is linked to their brains memory bank (where all their past experiences are stored) and a mental projection of where they first heard what they just said to you is replayed to you in your own mind. Ohhh so that's why when you said that it sounded a little put on. Oh you stole that from south park. On more than 1 occasion I have wanted the ability to see where a person got a word or phrase from and these MBP's would solve all of that. Haha talk about invasion of privacy, that would never be allowed. How about u just ask that person where they got it from. Let me dream.. I wanna dance.. care to join me for some tea and crumpets?

Last night i saw the latest Star Wars Movie: Revenge of the Sith. I really really liked it a lot. I found myself smiling all throughout the movie. I want to see it again and im gonna go out and burn all the other Star Wars movies now and geek it up and get all knowledged up about the movies.

Life through headphones

I wish i could live my life with my earphones plugged in. Whenever I have my ipod cranking I can always think so much more clearly and the usual cloudy mess of thoughts dissapears. I can concentrate on what Im doing and ignore everything else which rules. If I need to design something then the earphones always go on so i can tune out.

My brother Luke sent me a really good email today which made me think about sorting out my goals and stuff. In it he said that goals can be split into 3 things.
1. To be (character, etc)
2. To do
3. To have

In other news, I finally made the switch to Firefox... Im kicking myself for not making the change sooner on. Its great. Was using Opera before. Yep if u don't use Firefox already, get it now! from here

I don't get Huey Lewis from Huey Lewis and the news. Im watching Living the 80's on Max and his clip is on. Huey Lewis wtf? Only Huey Lewis could be popular in the 80's his attitude/act doesnt fit in to any other decade.

New Blog Colour Scheme

Tonight I decided to change the colour scheme of my blog from pink to a more subdued goldy brown colour. Pink's played out. Im not 100% happy with how it looks now though and may have to have a play around, possibly change the current grey lines background image to something else that suits the new colour scheme. Is this colour scheme better? let me know what u think.

I "acquired" The Game cd today, its really really good, go get it. Not much else to post about tonight so might post a picture I drew instead. Night!

I went to the Mercury cinema with Dan and met Ash and his girlfriend there, we watched Steamboy an anime created by the people who made Akira back in the day. It was okay, I didn't really "love" it and towards the end almost fell asleep got real fidgety cos I just didn't care about the plot or characters. At one point it all seemed the same, shots of characters in some sort of facial expression, shock, anger, confusion. Made me wanna create a mock anime with just shots of characters with really exaggerated, over the top expressions. Dan really liked it though.

Went skateboarding yesterday with Richard, we went to some park out in bumsville, it was pretty good. Then went to Lee's house and then to Zane's house and made fake corpses for lee's bands film clip. We made the corpses by stuffing Zane's old threads with bunched up newspaper. They looked pretty good. Downloaded "Hate it or love it - The Game" just before, love that song. I bought my Interpol ticket yesterday for $55, its gonna be so good. Im in love with Duran Duran - planet earth at the moment, the song is nuts on so many levels and the film clip is pretty good aswell. I want hair like the lead singer has in the clip and Im also gonna steal his 80's dance moves, there rad. If I was to start a band then i would make it sound like Planet earth with a hint of ultravox. I feel like a 9 year old today just listing off random things ive done or thought lately, oh wel im gonna go with it. Lee informed me that a new south park season 9 is out in states so Im pumped to get every episode so far, I downloaded episode 907 Jimmy get a Boner.. haha it was stacks funny.. the production of the episodes has got heaps better too. I wish i was good at explaining stuff, it like my brain only picks up on the overall jist of things and misses the details so people who notice the details can go on and on about these things all i can seem to do is go yep that was a killer movie, anywho.. Sunday its funday, Doing a late mothers day lunch today with the fam then seeing Sara afterwards.
