I love cliches and stereotypes, especially when it comes to movies. I stumbled upon a wiked page called "
Film Sound Cliches"
ANIMALS
- Animals are never ever silent - dogs whine/bark/yip, cats meow or purr, cows moo, even in cases where most animals wouldn't be making a sound.
- Rats, mice, squirels and other vermin always make the tiny little squeeky noises constantly while they are on screen.
- Dolphins always make that same "dolphin chatter" sound when spinning, jumping, etc.
- Snakes are always rattling
- Whenever we see a hawk or a bald eagle, the sound is always that same red-tailed hawk screeching sound that's been around since the 50's!
- Always just before/or after some dramatic part of an adventure flick, you will here the screeching of a red-tailed hawk.
- Whenever a cliff or mountain is shown, especially if it's high, the Red-tailed hawk will screech.
- In a horror film when there is a full moon there is either an owl or a wolf howling in the distance. [Listen to Wolves!]
- The Loon is mostly found in lakes in North America. In the movies it seems to be just about anywhere in the world.
More >It is my dream and desire to one day when I get around to it create a movie which goes way overtop in portraying stereotypes, this to me is funny. I also want to incorporate cooky character traits as were popular in many 80's movies, such as the dude who is always eating food, or the angry silent type, or an over the top ladies man, or a sex addict..... Damn there are a lot of good things used in 80's movies that todays movies are missing and todays audience are worser off for it. Some of these things include montages, bad electricity/neon glow effects, wacky far out story lines, but most importantly todays movies need more eccentric characters.

The Scene -
http://www.welcometothescene.com/Q: What is "The Scene" in real life?
A: The Scene is the piracy underground where 99% of pirated movies, songs, video games, etc start out. There, thousands of pirates upload, download, and trade files (often illegally) using FTP sites. From there, the files make their way onto the peer-to-peer networks, that so many know and love.

Most people find my site through this blog which is pretty kool.
I have found a pretty good London band which I really like at the moment. They are called "Test Icicles" for about 3 hours I could not get my brain to pronounce it, testicles no no testicilails damn .. then i told my sister about them and it just came out "test.eye.si.kels" yay... So yeah i "acquired" the new album by them last night the new album is called "For Screening Purposes Only" and its pretty alright. My favourite songs on it are "Circle Square Triangle", "What's Your Damage" and "Dancing on Pegs". How I came to find them is through my 3rd closest Last.FM neighbour,
Gem_CutOff I was checking her stats, then visited her myspace page and on her myspace page she had a Test Icicles song playing and I heard it and instantly liked it. For more info about Test Icicles visit these sites:

Hmm wat else wat else, i watched disc 2 of Little Britain dvd tonight, the documentary, its really good. Man I love Little Britain soooo much, i would love to do a sketch show like this. Today Ive been feeling pretty down and negative and as Is the case when I get like this I have been getting pissed off at myself for various things which i shall list to get off my chest/initiate seed of change?
1. Never having any money - not savingI am currently pretty bad with my money. I pay my bills on time and all. I just don't really save my money and when I do I end up spending my savings :( I keep telling myself, Im 22 now going on 23 in less than a month, I need to be saving for a house instead of just wasting my money away on cd's, dvd's, clothes, FOOD. I really need to work on this but feel helpless as to what to do. I know its as simple as just don't spend my money but I do anyway. My sister Kate is really good with her money, she loves saving.
2. Not getting enough sleepThis comes from my living very much in the present and doing what feels good NOW. The result of this is late nights up on the computer, not caring about how I will feel say the next morning because for NOW Its all good. But being tired at work kanes me, I get really fidgety, angry, moody etc and this is not a good state to be in when all I want to be is productive and helpful etc. So need to go to bed earlier.
3. MyselfI piss myself off a bit. I think negatively too much especially when tired, sometimes when people ask me questions I answer the question directly and not see their good intention of "taking an interest". Things like this, especially when at family events I get negative for whatever reason :(. Anyway no good will come from going into these things in detail, will only make me focus on this stuff more which is not how to deal with it.
Anyway now that vent is over with i reckon i will go rent "24 hour party people". My friend Churchie who i went to school with just told about it on msn and to "go out now and get it". So you know what, I think I will. Adios Amigos!
Everytime I go to check my feeds in Bloglines I get the goddamned Bloglines plumber! Damn you, you smug prick!!! Wipe that look off your face, you know exactly what the problem is...I hate you!
I added some sections to my website tonight,

Thursday late night shopping, went to JB Hifi with David and Karl and was browsing the DVD isle. Scanning the rows as one does I notice out of my eyesockets "Matt Lucas & David Walliams" Hmmmmmm Bells ring. 2 seconds of processing time and my brain meat catches on.. ohh yeahhh .. Matt Lucas & David Walliams of "Little Brittain" holy shit what is this all about?.. hmm "Rock Profile" pick it up, the font is appealing.. read the caption,
"The show which first introduced us to the unique comedy brilliance of Matt Lucas and David Walliams" - Heat.

OMFG I think to myself. I neeeed this, man this is gonna be great.. get to see more brilliant smart humour from my comedy hero's of present tense. So yep I purchase it. Tonight i pop it in the DVD tray, watch it.. its total crap! If you like Little Brittain and you see this in a store and wonder if you should get it.. DON'T. The premise for each episode is Matt and David impersonate famous musical celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Oasis, Elton John, Blur and lots of past day UK pop bands such as steps etc. So its them being interviewed by this guy, I don't know who he is but I gather he is a UK Tv show host. He asks them questions and they proceed to answer them "in character". Now you would think this would be entertaining but no it is not. Their gags are predictable and lack the depth of character portrayed in Little Brittain. The whole thing comes off as really cheap looking too. :( And the interviewer dude gets annoying as he answers "Riiiight" in response to the silly eccentricities being displayed.
I made myself watch every episode on Disc 1 saying to myself no no keep watching, its Matt Lucas & David Walliams they are brilliant, it will get better, but no it did not. Was really dissapointed. The only redeeming quality of this 2 disc dvd for me was a half hour interview with Matt and David on disc 2. The interview was pretty good, Matt and David seem pretty smart and funny, they did some characters and showed a clip from the "at the time" upcoming Little Brittain series which featured the character "Vikki Pollard" being questioned in a courtroom - funny. Something which stood out to me was that they both said they were shy people and that they felt more comfortable when in character. Alot of self confessed shy people even people who dont appear shy but see themselves this way seem to be really talented comedians/actors.. people like Tom Green and Ali G (Sacha Baron Cohen) come to mind. They get a lot of feeling from the world around them and seem to have a deeper understanding of what is funny and why etc. That's kinda a bad description but I dunno this quality of feeling, anxious mind whatever you want to label it provides great natural talents and strengths in these areas it seems. Anyway so I was dissapointed with "Rock Profile" but still regard "Little Brittain" as one of the funniest and smartest sketch shows out at the moment.

This is an easy way to put your own MP3's in GTA LCS Custom Radio.
1. Connect you PSP to your computer
2. Go into "PSP"
3. Now Go into "SAVEDATA"

http://www.mobiledeviant.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=1907. Open the program

I joined Google Adsense yesterday. It's great, I'm fascinated with the fact that your website can make you money while you are off doing whatever it is you do. It's really easy to put ads on your site, you can choose what size banner/ads to show and the colour scheme so they match you blog/website. I put some ads on my site yesterday and made $1.35 in a day, mind you a lot of the clicks came from me testing it out. The ads displayed are generated from what content you have on your page. Say for example you have a PSP Game Reviews page, then the ads which will display might be ads for PSP games/accessories etc.
Google Adsense has taken control over my mind in the last 2 days, all I can think about is how to get clickthroughs and what pages I should create for maximum targeting.
Heres a "heat map" taken from the Google AdSense page which illustrates the ideal placement locations of ads on your site. The colors fade from dark orange (strongest performance) to light yellow (weakest performance). So for example on this blog I have chosen the absolute weakest position to display my google ads :( - bottom right hand side.

I did some research tonight and found some good AdSense marketing sites which give you free advice on how to get more clickthroughs etc.
I earn over $11,000 per month with AdSense - This is a streaming video from a guy who earns over $11,000 per month with Google AdSense. He gives advice like choosing the right ads, colours, top paying keywords etc. In it he recommends some software that you buy which gives you a whole bunch of reports and a huge list of top paying keywords etc. However in searching around I have found that many websites offer free scripts which do these exact same things, but for free. I ♥ the Internet! One such site is
http://www.monetizers.com. It offers free scripts, google site map creation, top paying keywords..and much more!
Here is a list of the top paying keywords for Google AdSense. Each keyword is valued at $13 or more and may be just the keyword combination you’re looking for. The top paying keyword is "ca lemon law" and is worth a whopping $32.85 a click! Wtf is lemon law? lesbian law?

Lee and Richard came around tonight with a drawing Lee did and an idea for a poster, a few hours later, this is the result:
Lately I've been working on my new website (
www.nathankowald.com) and have got a fair bit done on it now, tonight I added a "
My Music" section and put up songs I've made with Fl Studio.
The reason Im posting is because I am stuck as to what to call it. Should I leave it as "Nathan Kowald 2005" or just have it as "Nathan Kowald"? or something else? Does the 2005 confuse?
The reason I called it Nathan Kowald 2005 is because last year I came across a pretty good site by a multimedia / web developer and it was called "John Smith 2004". It wasn't really called John Smith 2005, it was a different name, a name which does not come to mind right this moment. At the time I liked the sound of it and it looked good in a search engine page title.
So yeah please leave comments on what you think I should call it because I can't make up my mind.
