You will find the most commentators watching films at Palace and Nova. They are usually 40+. They insist on saying out loud what is happening on the screen. So dumb.
I am truly unique. Check this out, I listen to everything! I can go from Clipse to Barry Manilow back to Cradle Of Filth. It's just something I have always been able to do. My taste in music is truly eclectic. I feel this is something I need to tell everyone. This makes me better than you narrow minded people who limit yourself to 1 genre. lol. In last.fm I started the "My music taste is truly eclectic" group. Why start a group like this? Because this is a point that I feel I need to make, it shows I am open to everything and on an even deeper level that I am not judgmental. You see, one genre doesn't cut it for me, it really doesn't. It fills me with great pride when someone comments on my last.fm saying, "Wow, you have a really eclectic taste in music". Sometimes I surprise myself how eclectic my taste in music can be, I don't know how I can be so diverse in my musical tastes. I'm the best.
I feel I need to state that the above is satirical, I do not really think this. I do listen to lots of different music but I don't feel this is a point I need to make. It pisses me off when I see someone going on about how they listen to everything and that this is somehow a unique trait. THIS IS NOT A POINT THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE. If you do listen to lots of different music, good! Just don't go on about it. It is self-evident.
Recently, thanks to Graeme I worked out how to stream any song from my computer to my psp from anywhere in my house using the wireless modem. It rules, it is really, really handy. It is a php script which creates rss feeds from your selected music folder. You add the feed to your psp's audio feeds and you can listen to the songs. Loving it! To use this you need a psp, wireless modem and a server installed on your computer (i use Apache).
If you have a psp and want to try this out, here is a site which shows you how:

I have been watching Temptation on tv lately and am hooked. I love the smart people who appear on the show and how the dumb hosts, especially Lavinia contrast them. It's like jocks (presenters) thrown in with the geeks (contestents) the dynamics are great. I love the really interesting contestants and get wowed at how much they know. I can never and have probably NEVER gotten one of those "who am i" questions. They are so hard unless you have studied a person. They are always some guy or girl from the 19th century who I have often never heard of. When it was "Sale of the Century" didn't they have ordinary people on the famous faces board? Like a home viewer or something? I love trivia.
I just came across this site,
http://www.g2p.org/ from a feed I subscribe to. It uses Google to find mp3's!

Enter the artist then click go. This will return all results for the artist you typed in.
I decided to try it out with an artist I have recently been getting into, "Thieves Like Us", wondering if it would find a certain song I have been looking for but have been unable to find and IT DID!! Alright!
P.S. - I was looking for this song: "
Thieves Like Us - Drugs In My Body"
How it seems to do this is it takes your artist and puts it into a search string (
intitle:index.of "mp3" +"thieves like us" -htm -html -php -asp "Last Modified") which is designed to return mp3 results of the artist you enter.
Very Cool!
I have found lot's of great music lately:
Thieves Like Us
SongTheives Like Us - Fass - This song is amazing, I first heard it on a music blog. This song is incredibly catchy and wonderful. They take their name from the New Order song, "Thieves Like Us"? perhaps. New Order elements can definately be heard in their songs.
MySpace Artist DescriptionThieves Like Us met each other in Berlin in 2002. We met in Mauer Park. Two of us are from Sweden. One is from the United States. We were friends hanging out in a vast foreign city. We struggled with the language and the culture. We we hadn't registered our residencies at the local city hall so we couldn't even get memberships at a videotek. We were fans of rock and pop music and would try to find places to go out drinking and dancing, but all we would hear is techno and electro. The women didn't seem to like us at all. We started deejaying ourselves. We would play old krautrock (nobody recognized it), italo disco, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Factory Records stuff, and even new hip-hop. Later on we discovered French filter house and added this to our repertoire. Our cross over dj sets really seemed to bother the Berliners. Maybe it was the inconsistency in bpms. In Berlin, we heard and saw enough electronic music we didn't like. We thought we could do it better so we started our own band. Unable to gain a label or following in Berlin, we have temporarily relocated to New York City. Thieves Like Us will soon be seeking asylum in France.

I found Xinobi off a person's MySpace who added me. Amazing music from Portugal. I cannot find any of his music online, apart from this mix which was on his MySpace and the songs which stream on his MySpace. If you know of where to get/buy his music, please let me know. I must of played each of his MySpace songs a total of say 3 times. Oh and he likes Turbonegro! He even has a song on his MySpace called "Turbonegro's Lesson" which samples bits of spoken Turbonegro dialogue from Turbonegro tracks over a good beat.

I heard Viola today whilst playing a last.fm user's (who had visited my page) playlist. Her playlist was full of great sweet melodic pop songs, Viola stood out the most. Viola remind me of Mew, they are from Finland.
