Christopher Reeve doesn't see the humour in LOL Cats

I am writing this because over the past week I have had lots of thoughts about things to blog, I can not remember them now.

- I had an idea of drawing the anatomy of a human man and woman from the perspective of an alien race describing the functions of each organ/body part. The main idea is to use an outsiders perspective to re frame humans. Re framing humans is a big reason why I like Star Trek, it provides an opposite to the ever prevalent human-centric view which most people have.

- Read my friend BigPixel's blog. It is amazing, he is such a great human person and has a talent for articulation and delivery which is illustrative, thoughtful and fresh. If I was making a dream team of life he would be my choice for all things creative. He is also a gamer so if you are into gaming then you will get even more out of it.
Here is his blog's rss feed: http://bigpixels.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss

- When I was young I was all about the "dream teams". Dream teams comprise of the best of the best. When I was 15ish it was a basketball dream teams comprised of my favourite players. Each player's unique skills coming together to compliment and form the ultimate, unbeatable team. When I was 15 I created basketball cards of myself and friends. It was fun and would still be fun today.

- I have recently added to my list of defining items the wristwatch. The other items which make or break an outfit/ensemble are sneakers and ties. These items speak in volumes.

- I watched part 1 of Richard Dawkins new series/documentary tonight called, "The Enemies of Reason". In one bit he talks to a few psychics and mediums. I had an idea for a B3TA submission. The premise being that psychics and "channelers of the dead" rely on cold reading to effectively convince people of their "gift". The b3ta pic would show some famous person who has motor neuron disease and who is effectively comatose perhaps someone like Christopher Reeve/Stephen Hawking and a channeler/medium trying to communicate with one of his dead relatives. Anyway, this might work because the psychic channeler would be have no visual/communication feedback to work with and therefore would fail miserably thus exposing his craft/methods for what they are.
Afterthought: Stephen Hawking has his computer voice box so he would be able to respod. Dammit, Christopher Reeve can talk too can't he? so he could respond also. A person who cannot move and can not speak would be preferable, drool would also help illustrate the point.

- I think I over-user forward slashes. As I tend to write in a conversational manner and write the first word which comes to mind. The first word may not be the correct/most descriptive word and therefore I employ the forward slash. When I type it I say in my head I say, "Christopher Reeve SLASH(/) Stephen Hawking.

$33 Vacuum Cleaner

I bought a $33 vacuum cleaner from AusVac the other day and it sucks! No, really it is really good. $33. My brother Luke tipped me off on the $33 Vac and I am glad he did.

I went into the store yesterday and was a bit overwhelmed with all the range, I saw a large bellied sales man approaching so I decide to walk over to the other side of the room to make him walk further to get to me. He asks me if I need help and I tell him I am interested in buying a vacuum cleaner. He says some lame joke/comment then asks me what my price range is. Under $100 I say and he tells me there is one for $33 but I won't like it. Lol I thought to myself. Do playground psychology tactics such as this still work today? I inspect the $33 vac and it is perfect. Bammmmmm. Buy it.
