Skills
In 2002 I completed my Certificate IV in Applied Design (Interactive Multimedia) at Salisbury Tafe.
In 2003 I took a year off from study to earn some money doing various factory work.
In 2004 I went back to Tafe, Torrens Valley Campus and completed my Diploma of Multimedia.
It was at this time while at Tafe completing my diploma that I was employed doing web development work at a web design company here in Adelaide called Bridgehead. For a period of 6 months I worked 2 days a week at Bridgehead, they then offered me full time work.
In June 2007 I left Bridgehead and did contract work for Kojo Interactive for a few months, working mainly on the HomeStart StartDreams website.
In August 2007 I was offered full time employment with a web development company called Iugo where I am working now.
At work I use PHP, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Smarty, XHTML and CSS on a daily basis. A lot of sites I create at work use an inhouse developed content management system (CMS) which kicks ass, I use the smarty templating system with this. The work is challenging and I am learning a lot from it.
